IZAR launches the new 1866 MULTIMAT with hex shank for impact drivers

IZAR, the Spanish benchmark in cutting tool manufacturing, expands its MULTIMAT range with the new 1866 drill bit, designed to meet the needs of today’s professional users. Building on the proven performance of the 1876 MULTIMAT, the 1866 incorporates innovations that improve versatility, durability, and productivity on the jobsite.

Like its predecessor, the 1866 MULTIMAT features a revolutionary geometry that allows fast, precise drilling in virtually all materials. It is suitable for fire brick, ceramics, soft porcelain, metal, hardwood, plastics, and even concrete with percussion, making it a true all-in-one solution. Its key innovation is the E6.3 hex shank, designed specifically for impact drivers, ensuring secure fastening, efficient power transmission, and greater flexibility in assembly and installation tasks.

The drill bit includes a carbide tip with exclusive IZAR sharpening for excellent cutting performance and extended service life. Wide flutes enable efficient dust and chip evacuation, while the IZAR BLUE surface treatment reduces friction and prevents material buildup for cleaner, smoother drilling.
